Philip & Aki

I am very pleased to announce that my dog Aki and I have become the new owners of a beautiful holiday home, Maison Le Puy.
We would be delighted to welcome you to our house in Le Puy-Lanouaille in the Dordogne (Perigord Vert).
I became the owner on February 4, 2026, and will continue the wonderful work of Frits and Filiz, who have been the proud owners of this property since December 2016.
I share the same intentions and thoughts, because when I first drove up, I immediately fell in love with the house, the surroundings, and the view.
Aki, my brown Labrador, loves doing his own thing in the large, enclosed garden. I hope you will enjoy our house and the surroundings as much as we do.

Frits and Filiz have passed the torch for personal reasons, but I can assure you that I will continue their rental concept. So you and your four-legged friends are still welcome at Maison le Puy. The website is open for 2026, and you can book with the same people who have always ensured that Maison le Puy is and has always been a beautiful place. Agreements will be finalized with the same terms and conditions as before, within a week of booking. So you can book with confidence, and we, the Maison le Puy team, will ensure you have a wonderful stay.

In 2018, a lot happened in and around our house. Inside, we re-wallpapered all the rooms, replaced curtains, hung new lamps, repainted and rearranged the furniture and replaced it to make it more like our home.

Outside, the swimming pool was built in 2018, the patio was fitted with new steps and tiles, and the entire garden was fenced. We’re far from finished. Of course, there are always areas for improvement. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them.

Our house is not suitable for children under 10. This is because we don’t have cribs, toys, or a playground. We also haven’t taken any additional safety measures (such as electrical outlets, a fence around the pool (although we do have a special cover as a safety measure), and the pool’s depth (1.20 to 1.80 meters). If this isn’t a problem for you and you can bring your own travel cot, please feel free to contact us.
Dogs (maximum 3, more upon request) are more than welcome!
